PayrollHero Reminder: February 9 & 10 is a Special (Non Working) Holiday in the Philippines!

Friday, February 9 and Saturday, February 10 is a Special (Non-Working) Holiday in the Philippines. This is to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Source: Proclamation No. 453 & 368

Since the days are holidays, plan ahead and remember:

  • PayrollHero only adds mandatory holidays at the start of the year, any declared holidays within the year, needs to be added by Account owners or HR admins. Here’s our Support article on How to Add Events in the Shared Calendar.

  • If you have staff that don’t work on this holiday, make sure to remove their schedules. If they have recurring schedule, you can click on “Remove Schedule“.

  • If you have staff that regularly do work on holidays, working on this day, remember to use the option “work this holiday” on the scheduling page to ensure that they can clock in seamlessly this day.

Oh! And don’t forget… PayrollHero remains operational 🙂
